CLASSICAL BALLET

Henry trained with classical and folklore Spanish dances as well as Modern Afro-Cuban at the National School of Dance in Havana, Cuba. Classical ballet has always been a fundamental practice for him. He joined the National dance company, Danza Contemporánea de Cuba as a soloist dancer and there his passion for ballet became stronger after continuing learning from very inspiring masters. Alongside his studies and career as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher, he has strengthened his classical ballet methodology drawing from principles of the Cuban ballet school, among others. In 2024 he completed the bachelor Teacher of Classical Ballet at the Dutch National Ballet Academy, where he immersed himself in the Vaganova methodology and enriched his toolbox as a classical ballet educator.
